In addition to Hamburg, students also have to dig deep into their pockets in Frankfurt am Main, Berlin and Hamburg. However, rents in shared flats have also become more expensive in T\u00fcbingen, Heidelberg, M\u00fcnster and Freiburg, for example. Students there currently pay average rents of 395 to 464 euros per month. Prices are also expected to continue to rise. At least that is the prediction of those responsible for the analysis by GBI Holding AG, WG-gesucht.de and the Moses Mendelssohn Institute (MMI).<\/p>\n
The reason for this is the developments due to the coronavirus pandemic: many students decided to stay at the university location late.
