It proposes that up to 50 percent of the cost of a new heating system should be subsidized, depending on income. In combination with the planned basic subsidies and the climate bonus, this could fully cover the costs of heating conversions for low-income households.<\/p>\n
Ramona Pop also emphasizes the need to strengthen tenant protection in the context of the heating transition. She is calling for tenants not to bear the brunt of the costs. Instead, the costs that can be passed on when replacing heating systems should be limited. This would include a reduction and a time limit on the modernization levy.<\/p>\n
